Our garden is very restful and always has something in bloom. The conservatory lets you watch the local wildlife from the comfort of your armchair. Set in the heart of Helensburgh's leafy conservation area, Balmillig is conveniently close to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, yet just 20 miles from Glasgow International Airport Airport. Charles Rennie Mackintosh's world famous The Hill House is just up the road as is Scotland's famous West Highland Railway, voted recently by Wanderlust readers as the world's top rail journey. Faslane Naval Base is 10 minutes by car.

Having welcomed guests for many years we know how to help you enjoy all that Balmillig, Helensburgh and this superb area has to offer. Our 4 star quality award recognise that. We try to make Balmillig a friendly relaxing home and we are sure you'll enjoy sharing with us.

Room Facilities - Balmillig is a completely smoke free house with modern facilities including underfloor heating, excellent spacious showers and comfortable beds. Mixture of twin, double and queen bedded rooms. Wireless internet access for laptops, TV, alarm radio, DVD player and electric blankets and hairdryers in bedrooms. Family artwork and treasures from travels adorn the walls.

Breakfast - Enjoy fruit juice, cereals or porridge, fruit, toasted bread, oatcakes, homemade marmalade, and a choice of freshly cooked eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and "tattie" scones at breakfast time. have some or all the choice is yours. We use quality local produce. Earlier breakfasts if required for earlier starts. Breakfast served in the conservatory so you can watch the birds enjoy their breakfast.

Lounge/ Conservatory - Large heated conservatory which has games, books and lots of information. We can lend you maps and help with planning your day or the rest of your trip.

Parking and Garden - Ample off street parking within garden. Relax in the garden and patio area where you can enjoy our growing collection of interestin and colourful plants.
