A small family run Bed and Breakfast with just a few rooms. All of them are nicely furnished with comfortable beds, all have TVs and Tea and Coffee making facilities and all the showers have enough power to satisfy our American guests.

Breakfasts are freshly cooked with fresh materials and are served on a large rosewood dining table.

We can rightly claim to be the nearest B and B in Windsor to the Heathrow Airport (and to the business areas around it).

Many guests have spent their last night in UK 15 minutes walk away from Windsor Castle but without the worry that it will take them too long to get their hire car back in the morning.

Barbara's is a family run, small B&B, where high standard are the norm. We cook fresh food, we provide comfortable beds (bought in places like Harrods) and we provide quality bedding (also from places like Selfridges and Harrods).

We are liked by Americans because water comes out of the shower under pressure, not the normal English dribble, we are liked by the Japanese because the house is photogenic inside and out, we are liked by the Australians and New Zealanders because we know the way to the hire car return and we can dispose of the many plastic bags they accumulate during their extended stay, but mostly we are liked because we are friendly and welcoming.

If you look in our visitors book closely there is a complaint (the boiler broke down in the night and Thames Valley plumbers don't come out after 6pm) but all the hundred of other entries are complimentary, whether they be from visitors from Britain or from far away.

The price includes a choice of English or Continental breakfast. Breakfast is normally served between 07:00 and 09:00.

If you have chosen the English breakfast we would normally include: fruit juice, a choice of cereals, tea or coffee, eggs - fried, poached or scrambled, grilled bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast with jam, honey or marmalade.

It would help if you could let us know if there are any changes to the above you would like included when you book as we sometimes will need to get something in. We also ask you what time you would like your breakfast as we cook everything freshly.

There are two parking slots directly in front of the house. We also rent spaces from Windsor Boys School directly across the
road - if you leave your vehicle in the school grounds please make sure that it is moved before 08:00 in the morning during term time. The small car park 80 metres back towards the main/Slough road is now residents only.

We are happy to talk about longer stays if you are moving into the area or working nearby but we don't have cooking facilities
nor can we provide evening meals (however, there are four pubs within 300 yards, all of which serve reasonable priced food).

Things You Need To Know

Please note that whilst we are happy to have children staying, we do not have family rooms nor the scope to add an extra bed
in the rooms above (in fact for Fire Regulation reasons we can not add extra beds).

The rooms are normally ready for occupancy by midday. We would therefore ask that you clear your room by 11:00 on your last day (and earlier if possible), there is no restriction on the times that you come and go during your stay.

Singles in a Double or Twin Room get a £10 reduction.
