Location

Talfan Farm is situated in 90 acres of farmland near St Clears and is about 10 miles from Carmarthen Town near the Carmarthen/Pembrokeshire border. We are close to the beautiful beaches, castles and gardens of West Wales in addition to being on Cycle Route No 4. If you are interested in the environment, gardens, literature, history, culture - you will find it all here in West Wales.

Owner's Description

We have just two rooms, one double and one twin - each has its own private facilities comprising WC/shower or bath, complimentary toiletries, white towels and bathrobes. All our beds are comfortable with high quality bedding and each room has a flat screen digital TV, complimentary refreshments, bottled water, hairdryer, radio alarm, cold air fan, night light etc.

The ground-floor rooms at your disposal are the Farmhouse Kitchen where you may have your breakfast, the Guest Lounge and our new Conservatory which leads out onto the courtyard also a Guest WC which leads off the main hallway. In the winter we serve breakfast in the homely and warm farmhouse kitchen and in the summer months you may enjoy your breakfast in our pleasant conservatory.

Checking in time - any time after 4 pm - if guests arrive before 4pm, please inform us of your time of arrival and we will do our best to accommodate you.

From the East:
Passing St Clears on the A40, take the Tenby Road A477 - *Llanddowror is about 2 miles from the 'Little Chef' roundabout. Go through the village of Llanddowror with 30/40 mph speed limits until you come to a yellow house on the right-hand side. Then look for the national speed limit signs. When you reach these signs look for our yellow sign 'Talfan Farm B&B'. On the right-hand side immediately before you get to these signs you will see a little white cottage. The track leading to the farm is between this cottage and the national speed limit signs.

From the West (Tenby Road):
Take the A477 through Llanteg and Red Roses following signs to St Clears. Look out for the Old Mill Cafe on the left-hand side. After about a mile you will see the sign for Llanddowror. Begin indicating left and look for the yellow sign 'Talfan Farm B&B' near the 40 mph speed limit camera signs. Turn left before the signs.

From the West (Pembroke/Haverfordwest):
Follow the signs for St Clears until you come to the 'Little Chef' roundabout. Take the 3rd Exit onto the Tenby Road A477, then follow the directions from the East *above.

The farm track is about 500 metres long and the farmhouse is on the right after going through the farm gate at the top.

Follow the 'PARKING' sign with an arrow on it and park the car right outside the garages. Come in for a welcome cup of tea and some Welshcakes! We look forward to seeing you!
