Location

The house is on the outskirts of Lampeter, a small thriving market and university town nestled in the Teifi valley, on the borders of Ceredigion (Cardiganshire) and Carmarthenshire in Wales.

The 10 minute walk to the University of Wales, Lampeter makes our location ideal for visiting tutors, parents or students.

Welcome to Peterwell House, a 19th century house, 5 minutes walk from the university and market town of Lampeter in Ceredigion, Wales.

Whether you are planning to visit your offspring at the university, attend a course, work in the area or enjoy the beautiful Ceredigion countryside, you are guaranteed a warm welcome here.

You can stay for a day (or two or three or more) and you have a choice of accommodation.

The Blue Room (Sleeps 2)
The Blue Room (4.8m x 4m) is a double bedroom, with its own en-suite, on the first floor of the main house (which is our home).

It has:
~ panoramic views over the Teifi Valley ~
~ four poster double bed ~
~ en-suite over-bath shower room (2.2m x 2m) ~
~ tea / coffee making facilities ~
~ television ~

The room can be booked on a room only basis or we can provide a continental breakfast service.

The Pebble Room (Sleeps 2)
The Pebble Room (4.8m x 4m) is a twin / king-size bedroom, with own en-suite, on the first floor of the main house (which is our home).

It has:
~ panoramic views over the Teifi Valley ~
~ twin / king size bed ~
~ en-suite shower room (2.1m x 2.3m) ~
~ tea / coffee making facilities ~
~ television ~

The room can be booked on a room only basis or we can provide a continental breakfast service.

Continental Breakfast Service
Guests who opt for the breakfast service will have their breakfast served in our dining room at a time to suit.

Breakfast typically consist of: Cereals, Rolls / Croissants, Cheese, Ham, Yoghurt, Fresh Fruit Salad, Fruit Juice, Tea / Coffee.

Lampeter is in the heart of Wales, about 4 hours by road from London or Manchester. The nearest international airports are Cardiff and Birmingham. Rail services come as far as Aberystwyth to the north, and Carmarthen to the south. There are also TrawsCambria coach links from Cardiff and Swansea in the south, and Holyhead in the north with local buses connecting to Lampeter. The University is situated in the centre of Lampeter on the A485 (coming from the South we are towards Tregaron).

By car
From the south
If you are coming by road, the M4 will bring you as far as Carmarthen, then take the A485 north to Lampeter (about another 45 minutes).

From the north
Travelling by car from the north or midlands, head for Aberystwyth and then take the A487 to Lampeter via Aberaeron.
