We aim to provide a friendly welcome in our comfortable home which has stunning views of the Lake District scenery.

It is the ideal location for walking, cycling, climbing or sailing. We are on the Coast to Coast long distance path and are well located for weddings at the Inn on the Lake in Glenridding.

Location

Grisedale Lodge is located in a small community of houses at Grisedale Bridge, midway between the villages of Glenridding and Patterdale in the Ullswater valley.

Peace and quiet .... mountains and fells .... Ullswater lake only a 10 minute walk away .... pubs, cafes, internet cafe, shops and post office and National Park Information Centre within a 10 minute walk.

Owner's Description

At Grisedale Lodge you have the choice of a lovely self catering cottage or bed and breakfast.

We have three newly refurbished B&B rooms with en-suite shower room or private bathroom. The rooms are comfortably furnished and have tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, shaver point and complimentary toiletries. You also have a lovely bright and airy first floor lounge which has superb views of the surrounding fells.

Things You Need To Know

Our B&B rooms are on the first and second floors of our home - which means the rooms have superb views but that they are not suitable for elderly people or young children.

Grisedale Lodge offers a wealth of walks and cycling routes from the door. Ullswater lake is only a 10 minute walk away and offers superb water based activities.

We are located midway between Glenridding and Patterdale in the Ullswater valley. We are 100 metres from the A592.
