Adam Place has been sympathetically renovated to provide homely and welcoming en-suite single, double, twin and family accommodation.
Blencathra (Sleeps 2) - Light, airy, modern, en-suite double bedroom well furnished with colour TV and a hospitality tray. Non-smoking.
We provide a choice of traditional, vegetarian or continental breakfast.
There is a guest garden for your relaxation.
There is so much to do and see in the Lakes, come and see for yourself.
Great Gable (Flexible room - sleeps 2 to 4) - Two-bedroom family suite, which can be let as a twin, double or family of 3 or 4. There is an en-suite bedroom with double bed and an adjoining room with full-size bunk beds to suit either children or adults. Both rooms are well furnished with a hospitality tray and colour TV. Non-smoking.
Helvellyn (Sleeps 2) - En suite room with fell views. Well furnished accommodation with colour TV and hospitality tray. Non-smoking.
Scafell Pike (Flexible room - sleeps 2 to 3) - Family, twin or double en-suite room with fell views which contains 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Well-furnished accommodation with colour TV and hospitality tray. Non-smoking.
Skiddaw (Sleeps 1) - Light, airy, modern, en-suite single.
Our dining room is presented white linen table covers and crockery to match, with a 1960s theme. We offer a wide choice menu serving fruit juices, fruit segments, fresh fruit and cereals, followed by a choice of traditional, vegetarian or continental breakfast, all home-cooked and served to your taste.
There is ample street parking with no restrictions or fees.

From the South:
Exit the M6 at Jct 36, follow A591 to Windermere.
Turn into Windermere town centre
Go through village to pedestrian crossing.
Take the second left onto Ellerthwaite Road.
Adam Place is on the left at the next cross-roads.
From the North:
Exit the M6 at Jct 37, follow A684 to Kendal.
Follow signs in Kendal for Windermere via A5284, then onto A591.
Turn into Windermere town centre
Go through village to pedestrian crossing.
Take the second left onto Ellerthwaite Road.
Adam Place is on the left at the next cross-roads.
By Train
Adam Place Guest House is about 10-15 minutes' walk from Windermere station.
Timetable and fares information is available from National Rail Enquiries' website and on 08457 48 49 50 .
Windermere train station is reached by changing trains at Oxenholme Lake District station, which is on the West Coast Main Line between London and Glasgow.
Out of Windermere station, turn left and walk down Victoria Street into the main village centre.
Continue through the centre on Crescent Road and then Ellerthwaite Square until you reach Ellerthwaite Road on the left, opposite some shops.
Adam Place is on the left at the next cross-roads.
