Location

The Fielden Court is situated in a tree-lined road, in one of the most pleasant parts of Southbourne. The golden sandy beach is only a 2 minute walk away, offering safe bathing, cliff walks and magnificent views stretching from Hengistbury Head to the east and the Purbeck Hills to the West.

The Fielden Court Hotel is a lovely 100-year-old character building just two hundred yards from the beautiful cliff tops over-looking Bournemouth's seven miles of glorious sandy beaches.

There is a zigzag path or a lift, just three minutes walk from the hotel, which takes you straight down to the promenade.

A stay at the Fielden Court ensures you of a welcoming atmosphere, personal attention, excellent home-cooked meals, access to rooms at all times and welcoming refreshments on arrival. Guests can relax in the comfortable residents lounge, which hosts a colour tv or there is a choice of games to play.

The hotel has a charming dining room to enjoy a delicious breakfast to prepare you for your day. In the evening, it is ideal for a candlelit home cooked dinner with soft easy listening music.

There are many places of interest nearby, including The New Forest, Historic towns, public gardens, family attractions such as Monkey World, Splashdown, Oceanarium, and Alice in Wonderland to name but a few.

We have plenty of information about the local area in brochures available in the hotel, with lots of suggestions of places to go and things to do. We have also lived in Bournemouth for over 30 years and can answer most questions you might have about the area, as well as recommend our own personal highlights.
