Both breakfast and dinner are served in the sunny dining room, with patio doors onto the garden.

The most important meal of the day is included in all our room rates and is served between 7.30 and 9 am. A choice of freshly cooked premium ingredients. You are welcome to help yourself from the sideboard to cereals, orange juice or grapefruit segments. There is a wide choice of hot items, cooked to order, such as full english breakfast, eggs - fried, scrambled, poached or boiled or smoked haddock. Accompanied with toast and either tea or coffee.

Alternatively if you prefer you may have a continental breakfast delivered to your room.

Location

Southcroft is ideally placed in a quiet residential street with easy access to the seafront, theatres, downs and a short walk from the shopping centre and railway station.

Owner's Description

All our comfortable rooms have en-suite, hospitality tray, T.V.'s, hairdryers, toiletries, etc.

We have a comfortable Guest Lounge to relax and plan your stay, with a full range of tourist information, books and games to pass an hour or two and daily newspapers.

Our double and twin bedded rooms are well-appointed with ensuite baths or showers.
colour television, tea/coffee making facilities, fresh milk is always available if you prefer.
Radio/alarm clock, hairdryer, shoe cleaning materials and clothes brush.
Independently controlled central heating.

Things You Need To Know

Methods of payment We are happy to accept cash, cheques with guarantee cards, Switch, Maestro, Visa and American Express.

Deposits Upon booking we will ask for a non-refundable deposit of the first nights charge.

Cancellation. Should a booking be cancelled within two weeks of arrival date, we will endeavour to re-let the room but if this is not possible a charge of 60% of the total cost will be made.

Directions

Walking or driving directions from the town centre (station) to Southcroft.

If travelling to Eastbourne by car, and following signs to seafront, you arrive on the seafront with the sea on your left, continue past the pier and the wish tower, until you see the Grand Hotel on your right. Take the next right, bear round to the left and South cliff Avenue is on the left in a very short distance. We are a 5 minute taxi ride from the railway station or a 20 minute walk.

Other Information

For those staying on Bed and Breakfast, dinner is available if required at £12, when ordered at breakfast.

In the low season various rates are available for weekends, such as 'Stay Friday and Saturday and then Sunday is just £10 or £20 with dinner.

CHILDREN- small children staying in their parents rooms on an extra bed are charged £5 under 10 and £10 between 10 - 14. Cots are free.
