A warm welcome awaits you at The Mackenzie Guest House, which is situated in an excellent location overlooking Leith Links, the 'original' home of golf, and only a 10 minute drive from the city centre with its Shops, Theatres and Art Galleries, Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse and the new Scottish Parliament.

The Ocean Terminal development, Royal Yacht Britannia and the fashionable Leith Waterfront area with its wide range of Bars and Restaurants are all within walking distance.

Things You Need To Know

We have a 2-night minimum stay on all weekends, a 3 night minimum during August and a 4 night minimum at the New Year.

Earliest check-in time is from 13.00 and latest by 22.00 (or by prior arrangement) and check-out is by 10.30 on day of departure.
An estimated arrival time is kindly requested for all reservations.

From the A1
Follow all the signs for Leith

From the A68
Join the Edinburgh City Bypass - heading for Edinburgh East, Leith and the
A1 for Berwick upon Tweed
At the end of the City Bypass turn left, joining the A1 heading for Edinburgh
Follow the signs for Leith as per A1 directions above.

From M8 (West and Glasgow)
At Newbridge roundabout follow signs for airport and city centre, pass airport and head towards The Gyle roundabout and take exit off for Leith, avoiding city centre.
