The garden is over one acre, and includes a wide variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees and has an extensive vegetable area with greenhouses and a small orchard. The River Tryweryn flows at the bottom of the garden and is a natural water feature - the sound of the river is an interesting and unusual feature of the garden.
Eggs for the house are provided by our own flock of laying hens, and Bertie, Bessie and Betty - the free ranging Belgian bantams - provide a constant source of interest.
A wide range of wild birds can also been seen in the garden on the various bird feeders around the garden.
A recent addition to the garden is a carved sculpture of Melangell, a lady from a famous Welsh legend. She greets visitors with a gentle smile!
