Our inviting, 4 Diamond, Bed and Breakfast accommodation is very conveniently located: Being only 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral Quarter of St. Albans with its many restaurants, bars and shops; and only 5 minutes walk from the main train station with its fast and frequent service to London (20 minutes).

A warm "Highland welcome" awaits you at Fleuchary House. Your hosts, John and Linda, look forward to making your visit to St. Albans both memorable and comfortable.
The locally listed property was originally built in 1860 as a school but was divided into 2 houses at the turn of the 1900s. The house was professionally renovated to our own high specification and we continue to improve and upgrade our rooms and services as appropriate.

The name "Fleuchary" reflects Linda's heritage, being the name of her Grandparents' croft in the Highlands of Scotland. Hospitality and kindness to strangers is very much part of the highland culture and is what we now offer in our elegantly English home in the heart of Hertfordshire.

All of our rooms are beautifully appointed and include everything the discerning guest may require. Should your visit be for business, pleasure or family we look forward to meeting you.
