Hougham is a small village split in two halves, it sits on the top of two chalk ridges running parallel to and about half mile from the chalk cliffs which extend from Dover to Folkestone - an ideal location to enjoy beach/ pier fishing. Located on the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and about one mile away from the North Downs Way National Trail which runs for 153 miles through the Surrey Hills and Kent Downs. It starts at Farnham on the Surrey Hampshire border and ends at Dover - Gateway to England. There is a loop at the eastern end to take in the historic Cathedral City of Cantebury.

King-size bed with luxury linens. Double aspect room with 2 large sash windows dressed in white wooden plantation shutters, en-suite wet room with adjustable drench shower head. Dimmer switched chandelier & individual reading lamps.

Drawing Room

All rooms in the house have wireless access to Broadband; individually controlled central heating; are non-smoking; have music / books / magazines available.

Guests are welcome to relax in the drawing room (open fire is lit in winter), patios and gardens.

Paddock

Garden Set in 1.3 acres, Orchard House is set in a peaceful and pretty setting. Part of the garden is a designated dog territory where our two Labradors live. If you are feeling energetic, you can hire out a mountain bike or ride a horse.
