Set in lovely grdens with ample car parking, the hotel is just minutes away from the town centre and main line railway station and is within easy reach of the M6 motorway. Its good road and rail links make it an ideal base from which to visit Blackpool, the Fylde coast, or the beautiful Lake District.

The Claremont hotel is a friendly privately owned hotel run under the personal supervision of the proprietors Carla and Tony Sumner, who endeavour to make their guests' stay an enjoyable one.

The bar has a good selection of spirits, wines and local beers. Its informal atmosphere makes it an ideal place for a relaxing drink. All rooms have colour TV, clock, radio and direct dial telephones and tea/coffee making facilities.

The tastefully appointed restaurant is open to non-residents and offers a table d'hote menu. The restaurant may also be hired for private dinner parties of small buffets.

The function room is totally self contained having a separate entrance, its own bar and dance floor. it is ideal for wedding receptions, banquests and night time discos with buffet meals. It is licensed to cater for 100 people.

On a business theme the room is available for conferences and seminars. In fact for any type of function. The Claremont Hotel is truly a multi-purpose venue.

"What can i say?-my husband and I have just returned with our 2 children from a stay at the fabulous claremont hotel blackpool. We would recommend this hotel to anybody who has children and is looking for a relaxing break! We arrived on the monday and stayed until friday,there is a jungle club for the children and once enrolled in the club my husband and i barely saw the children during the day,they are kept entertained for the majority of the stay with endless competitions,swimming,disco's,treasure hunts and on the last evening(thurs)they have their own party! All the staff are extremely conscientious and kind and always have a smile on their faces. The meals are out of this world and every evening there is a different and varied menu. Each evening we were treated to 2 professional "acts" in the ballroom-one comedian and a singer,some of the acts we saw were out of this world-extremely funny and witty. Overall try as we might we couldn't find one single fault with this hotel and have already booked for next year!"
