We are located on the boundaries of, and within easy reach of, the award winning historic city of Lincoln.

Lincoln has a wide range of attractions to offer for all ages. You can get swept up in the historic nostalgia of Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle with its cobbled streets and browse the delightful "up hill" shops, or spend time in the vibrant city centre. Lincolnshire offers a diverse range of pubs and restaurants, theatre, cinema and charming countryside. You can dine "al fresco" on a warm day on the side of the charming Brayford Wharf or on a winters day be warmed by an open fire in a traditional country inn.

Lincoln city is world renowned for it's Christmas market, it just gets bigger each year, so an early booking of accommodation is highly recommended.

Peter & Carole would like to welcome you to Dorrington House, a delightful character family home, originally built in 1935 and tastefully extended, to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation.

We offer two double rooms both decorated and equipped to a high standard. The 'blue room' has a brand new en-suite bathroom and provides spacious and comfortable double accommodation. The 'green room' has exclusive use of a luxury private bathroom providing double or twin sleeping or will accommodate a small family having both double and single beds available.

Breakfast is served in our charming dining room overlooking the garden. Your breakfast will be home cooked on the AGA with a choice of vegetarian, continental, or a traditional full english breakfast using local produce. Tea, coffee and toast are provided in abundance.

Tea and coffee are provided on arrival with complimentary hot and cold refreshments in all rooms. We like to make breakfast an event and offer the traditional full English breakfast or fruity alternatives. This is served in our exclusive dining room overlooking the large rear garden.

Things You Need To Know

We can provide a "stay and ride" service for guests so you don't even have to worry about getting there or finding parking space. You can leave your car at Dorrington House and we will transport you to the market at a time to suit you then pick you up when you are ready. On your return you will find a warming glass of mulled wine and mince pies to complete your experience.

Family room £70.00 per room per night (Double bed and single bed).

All costs are inclusive of full english breakfast or equivalent served in our comfortable dining room. A welcome pot of tea or Coffee will be provided on your arrival and an additional refreshments tray with tea/coffee making facilities is available in the rooms.

All rooms have colour TV, radio/alarm. An iron & ironing board is available upon request.

A variety of nearby pubs, restaurants and fast food outlets offer a wide range of food to suit all tastes. For obvious reasons, consuming food, other than small snacks, is not permitted in the bedrooms however, should you wish to enjoy a takeaway meal in comfort you are welcome, by prior arrangement, to use the dining room or kitchen diner. We will do all we can to accommodate your requirements to ensure your stay is comfortable and restful.

Please note, this is a non smoking household and smoking in any public area is not permitted. You may smoke in the fully enclosed rear garden at any time.
