South Tyneside is an ideal place to stay as your base while you visit neighbouring areas of Tyne and Wear. We are just a few minutes drive from the the A19, Tyne Tunnel and A1 making Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, North Tyneside, Northumberland, North Shields, Tynemouth, and County Durham all quick and easy to get to.
Annie's is ideally located just a few minutes walk from local parks and beaches, shopping areas, restaurants, great nightlife and local transport links. Free parking is available right outside Annie's and we are just a few minutes walk from the Tyne & Wear Metro (train), South Shields bus station and the South Shields ferry terminal. Arriving by bike? We are just a hundred yards from a National Cycle Route and we are happy to offer free on site overnight cycle and motorcycle parking.

Welcome to Annie's Guest House, South Shields. We are a relaxed and friendly, family-run Bed & Breakfast located in South Tyneside, Tyne & Wear, UK.
Annie's offers clean, comfortable, quality accommodation at very competitive rates all year round. All our rooms are non-smoking, have double-glazed opening windows complete with black-out roller blinds, individual temperature controls, study desk with lamp, remote control TV's with Freeview, free wireless internet, alarm clock, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuit (refreshments tray), hairdryer and shave point, big soft 'bath sheet' size towels, use of our guest fridge, microwave, iron and board, 24/7 access - no curfew or lockouts.
We offer a choice of single, double, twin, triple and family rooms - both en suite and using a shared bathroom but all rooms have a sink with hot and cold running water as a minimum.

We do not accept pets, Stag, Hen or single sex group bookings - if in doubt ask! (We can recommend places nearby that do).
