Situated on the edge of the town within a two minute walk of the "Birks o' Aberfeldy" (made famous by Robert Burns), Balnearn is a Victorian- style property set within approximately three-quarters of an acre of grounds, including an off-street private car park. There are 10 comfortable rooms, offering the facilities which you would expect aswell as WIFI access. You can relax and unwind in the spacious first floor lounge with open fire and enjoy the views to the distant hills beyond. Breakfast is served in our elegant dining-room where you will be offered a selection of both cooked and lighter options, giving you the perfect start to your day.

Location

Balnearn House in Aberfeldy is set in the heart of the beautiful Tay valley in Perthshire, one of the most scenic counties in Scotland. It is an excellent area for a variety of outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, white water rafting, canoeing, golfing, fishing or just touring around the countryside.
There are many attractions within a short distance from Aberfeldy - the picturesque town of Pitlochry with its Festival Theatre, the fairytale Blair Castle (well worth a visit), the famous House of Bruar (for the shopaholics amongst you!) and, of course, the "fair city" of Perth which is only some 45 minutes drive away. Aberfeldy itself is not without its own visitor attractions with the Distillery and the intriguing Watermill Bookshop/ Gallery (winner of the best UK independent bookshop), as well as other galleries and a good range of shops. The village of Kenmore, at the head of Loch Tay, is only six miles from Aberfeldy and, during the summer months, there are regular boat trips on the loch.

We have 10 rooms offering views of the attractive gardens with those to the rear of the property looking over the distant hills.

All rooms are spacious and comfortable, 8 of which have ensuite facilities and the remaining 2 private shower rooms.

You can check in to your room from 4pm on the day of arrival, and have the convenience of checking out at 10.30am on the day of departure. Room features include, television, hospitality trays, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer and wireless internet access.

We would also be delighted to offer drying facilities on request, for any wet outdoor clothing. Secure storage is available for bikes, golf clubs etc.

A spacious private car park is available for guests.

Families are most welcome. A travel cot and highchair are available upon request.
