We offer home grown produce whenever possible & throughout the year we utilise the many different fruits from our garden in our own home-made preserves which are served at breakfast.

With uninterrupted stunning views of the Usk Valley and Brecon Beacons, Talybryn House is ideally situated for exploring all of the Tourist attractions within the Brecon Beacons National Park, Elan Valley, Wye Valley and beautiful mid Wales.

Owner's Description

Built in 1877 as a gentleman's country residence Talybryn House has been lovingly restored by the Shaw & Dunne families, and you will be warmly welcomed by mother and daughter, Joyce and Helen.

The guests lounge offers Sky TV and log fires in season. The views are some of the most stunning you will see anywhere in Wales. Joyce and Helen will offer you tea and cakes upon your arrival, so come and relax and enjoy the books - or play a tune on the piano!

All rooms are complete with modern en-suite facilities, period furnishings, hospitality trays, hairdryers, colour television and clock radio.

Ironing and drying facilities are available on request. Travel cots and high chairs are also available for our younger guests. We are also holders of the Welcome Host Gold Award.

Walkers and cyclists are always welcome with many of the recognised trails and walks on our doorstep.
We can offer pick-ups, luggage drop-off and secure cycle storage as well as ample guest car parking on a gravel surface.
