Things You'll Love

Farm extends to 400 acres (160 hectares) with cattle, sheep, crops and woodland. In addition we have our own loch which is just 5 minutes' walk from the house. Whitmuir Loch is an SSSI noted for its rich variety of flora and fauna. Fishing for pike and perch is permitted. The loch makes a wonderful giant swimming pool on warm summer days and is the perfect spot for a picnic. There are many pleasant walks around the farm and on the adjacent Selkirk Common.

Walkers are close to both the St Cuthbert's Way and the Southern Upland Way, which pass close by to the north, and collection by car at a cost of £8.00 can be arranged. For cyclists and riders there are many different trails to follow, and we can provide a paddock close to the house for horses and ponies on request. The cost of this is £7.50 per horse/pony per night. Glentress, Innerleithen is Scotland's biggest and most popular mountain bike centre, and the unofficial hub of the sport of mountain biking in Scotland. Owner's Description

The house is set in a south facing walled garden with a large terraced area, garden furniture and barbecue. Home grown fruit and vegetables are available in season.

The Bedroom 1: First floor: Double bedroom; en suite shower room; comfortable chairs; coffee/tea facilities; electric blankets; TV; hairdryer.

Bedroom Suite 2: First floor: Hallway with bathroom and over-bath shower, basin and W.C; large bedroom with balcony facing south and twin beds, which can be made up as a king-size; two additional single beds in hall; comfortable chairs; desk; TV; coffee/tea facilities; electric blankets; hairdryer.

Bedroom Suite 3: First Floor: Hallway with shower room; large bedroom with twin beds which can be made up as a king-size; additional single bed in hall; comfortable chairs; desk; TV; coffee/tea facilities; electric blankets; hairdryer.

Bedroom 4: First Floor: A small room with single bed and private adjacent shower room. TV; coffee/tea facilities; hairdryer.

Bedroom Suite 5: Ground floor suite: Twin or king size beds; door to garden; private shower room and dressing room; TV; coffee/tea facilities, electric blankets, hairdryer.

Things You Need To Know

Dogs are permitted in the house but not in the dining room - please bring pet beds.

Horses: grazing can be provided in paddocks close to the house. £7.50 per horse per night.
