The Mill lies adjacent to and was part of the historic, listed Grade1, 13th Century Gurney Manor, refurbished and owned by Landmark Trust. We are located in over one acre of grounds, with its own stream and waterfall looking out over water meadows, and yet only a 5 minute walk away from the picturesque village of Cannington. The village of Cannington lies between the Quantock Hills and the sea, some 3 miles from Bridgwater. To the West lies Exmoor and the North Devon coast, and to the East are the Somerset Levels, Glastonbury and Wells. The village has five Pubs, three of which have excellent restaurants, there is a Cafe, a Post Office, a Hairdressers and shops. The village has a Countryside Visitors Centre, where you can play pitch and putt or croquet.

There is a full size nine hole Golf course and an all weather Floodlit Driving Range. The village has a free to visit walled Heritage Garden with unusual plants, and is an ideal starting place for walking the River Parrett Trail .

Leave M5 Motorway at Junction 23 Southbound or 24 Northbound.

Drive into Bridgwater and follow the A39 towards Minehead.

Approximately 3 miles from Bridgwater you will reach Cannington.

Drive into the village you will see a butchers shop and newsagents .

Turn immediately right into East Street.

Turn next right into Gurney Street.

Continue past Manor Farm and over a cattle grid into open farmland.

Carry straight on, past the Manor House (100 metres) and turn right and right again.

You are at Gurney Manor Mill .
