we are proud to present a well appointed Victorian house,offering high standards of accommodation at affordable prices.

All our rooms offer ensuite facilities and superb levels of comfort.
The rooms are centrally heated, with television and hostess tray.

Directions From Glasgow / Dumfries
From Ayr south roundabout, proceed along Holmston Road to double roundabout Take Town Centre lane, over bridge in left hand lane, down to traffic lights. Left at lights ( signposted Burn`s Cottage. ) Langley Bank is 1/4 mile on left ( First house beyond The Grang Hotel. )

Directions From Stranraer / Cairn Ryan.
Take A77 North through Girvan Kirkoswald and Maybole Keep travelling North until you reach the outskirts of Ayr. Take AYR A79 onto Maybole Road, which continues into St.Leonards Road. At T junction ( beside church ) turn right. Langley Bank is about 100yards on right ( Just before The Grange Hotel ).

"For any of you interested in a WONDERFUL b&b, look no further. It's a ten-minute walk from the train station or a four minute cab ride. We stayed here for three glorious days! Bob and Morna (the owners) are terrific - extremley accomodating, have lots of advice on what to see & do, and are just great fun to talk to! The room we stayed in (family room) is big, bright, and airy (no pun intended). The decor ranges from modern to Victorian - all matching bedspreads, curtains, even lampshades...in a lovely minty shade of green. We had two single beds and one double bed, an antique armoire to hang clothes in and a beautiful vanity and chair (antique as well, I presume). The large windows were left open leaving us with bright sunshine and the cool, refreshing breezes. (We were defenitely NOT in Florida!! ) The room was also stocked with tea, yummy cookies & biscuits and hot chocolate. (The bathroom is just the right size - no squeezing in between the sink and shower - there's lots of room to move around!! Towels are provided and you can always request more.) Let's go to breakfast...apple & orange juice is always out - along with fresh fruit, assorted yogurts, jellies and jams and cereals. Bob comes in to take your order of eggs, (with everything from cheese to mushrooms & tomatoes), Toast (brown or white), porridge, tea or coffee (he will even get cream if requested!), and if you're not afraid to try authentic cuisine, black pudding. Sorry, but I'm a chicken!!! I can't say enough about this place (as you can tell). If you're lucky, you just might meet Ricco, the neighbor's cat who moved in. He's big, black, and very friendly! Don't forget to take a picture of the main staircase...it is the first picture I saw on their website and the deciding factor to stay!!"
