We are just 20 minutes drive from Prestwick airport and you may wish to spend your last night here before catching your flight home - early breakfasts no problem. Late night flight arrivals are also acceptable.

We offer a free lift to wedding guests of the nearby Brig O'Doon House Hotel in Alloway - only 2 minutes by car.

Directions

From the Information Centre
From Ayr tourist information centre head south on A719 from Sandgate to Alloway Place, Racecourse Road, Doonfoot Road then Dunure Road. Go past Saab garage on right then go over bridge and up the hill. Sunnyside is at the top of the hill on right hand side at bus stop before roundabout.

By Car
skip Heading south on the A77, just south of Ayr turn right into Doonholm Road at sign post for Alloway and Heads of Ayr. At roundabout take 1st exit signposted (A719). At T junction turn left onto B7024. Go past Brig O'Doon House Hotel on left, over bridge and turn right into Longhill Avenue. At roundabout turn right (3rd exit) and Sunnyside is the second house on the left beside the bus stop.

By Railway
From Ayr railway station go round one-way system. Follow signs for A719 south past Saab garage on right. Go over bridge and up hill. Sunnyside is at the top of the hill on right hand side at bus stop before roundabout.

By Aeroplane
From Prestwick airport turn right. Go straight through 5 roundabouts heading onto A77 south towards Stranraer. After going under railway bridge turn 2nd right to Alloway. At roundabout take 1st exit signposted (A719). At T junction turn left onto B7024. Go past Brig O'Doon House Hotel on left, over bridge and turn right into Longhill Avenue. At roundabout turn right (3rd exit) and Sunnyside is the second house on the left beside the bus stop.

By Ferry
From Stranraer take A77 north towards Ayr. After Ballantrae turn left at roundabout into Girvan, follow signs for A77 to Ayr. After Girvan turn left at roundabout. At Turnberry turn left onto A719. After Culzean Castle turn left, still on the A719. After 30mph signs in Ayr go straight through roundabout and Sunnyside is 2nd house on left at bus stop.
