Location

Ayr is famous for being the birthplace of the internationally renowned poet Robert Burns and the Burn's Cottage and museum is a popular tourist attraction. Culzean Castle, owned by the National Trust for Scotland, is only a 20 minute drive down the beautiful Ayrshire coastline.
Ayrshire also hosts over 30 golf courses, including the famous Open Championship courses Turnberry, Old Prestwick and Royal Troon and quality municipal courses such as Belleisle and Lochgreen. As a member of the South Ayrshire Hoteliers Golf Association special course fees are available for guests playing at the local municipal golf courses.

The Burnside Guest House is centrally located in a conservation area close to the beach and esplanade and within easy walking distance of the amenities of Ayr town centre which boasts a selection of good restaurants and shops.

All rooms newly refurbished, featuring traditionally restored furniture to provide comfortable 4 Star accommodation.

Single, twin/double or family rooms are available from £30 per person for bed and breakfast. Double rooms have king size beds and all have orthopaedic mattresses for a good night's sleep. En-suite facilities are available.

Colour TV with DVD and electronic safes in all rooms, tea/coffee, hair dryer and ironing facilities available in all rooms.

A wide selection is available on the breakfast menu which is served from 8.00 am till 9.30 am. Earlier breakfasts or pack breakfasts available - just ask!

Street parking with resident's parking permit. Storage area for bikes motorcycles and golf clubs available.

No smoking permitted within the guest house.
