Prestwick is a friendly little town with lots to do. Bowling, swimming cycling tennis and, of course, golf. Prestwick Golf Club, birthplace of the Open, St Nicholas and St Cuthberts are all excellent ,nearby courses and Royal Troon also famous for Open golf is only 3 miles away or 2 stops on the train.

There is an abundance of great eating places in Prestwick to suit every taste and pocket and all within easy walking distance.

Location

Tucked away in a very quiet street, Firhill is only 5 minutes by car or a 15 minute walk to Prestwick Airport so is the perfect haven for the late night or early morning traveller. The main Ayr to Glasgow bus and train links are also less than 5 minutes away. We offer free short stay parking in our drive for our guests who are using the airport for a break away.

With only two stylish en-suite rooms available for our guests, service is guaranteed in our friendly establishment. Our bedrooms are in a quiet part of the house, so ideal for parties of 4/5 persons as well as couples or singles who require excellent exclusive service .

The double room has a superkingsize bed which can separate to 2 single beds if required. It also has a futon (chair bed) which can convert to a single bed, which is ideal for a child.

Our second guest room is twin-bedded. Both rooms are thoughtfully furnished and decorated to ensure that your stay with us is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Dining Room
Although we do not serve evening meals, our central location means you are within easy walking distance of the many and varied restaurants and pubs Preswick has to offer.

The choice of breakfast is yours. From our buffet table there is a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, fruit juices and selection of plain and fruit yogurt. Porridge is available on request. To follow our full Scottish breakfast includes - sausage, bacon , eggs, tattie scone, mushrooms and tomato. Or you might prefer something lighter like scrambled , poached or boiled egg or perhaps a delicious omelette and there is always the continental choice if that is your preference.

We also have a high chair in the dining room if you have a baby with you.

For our guests who have early departures we offer a self service breakfast from our buffet table with toast and tea or coffee otherwise breakfast is served between 8am and 9.30am.

Glasgow International Airport is only 45 minutes away.

By car and from the airport
Follow the signs for the airport. Passing the airport on your left, take the right hand exit at the next roundabout which takes you into Prestwick Town.
After you pass the B.P. garage on your right, turn right at the 1st set of traffic lights on to Station Road.
Drive under the railway bridge and immediately turn left on to Montgomerie Road.
This very short road leads round into Seabank Road and we are the 4th house down on the left.
"Firhill" is written in the glass panel over the door.
