Dalkell Cottage Guest House is situated in Tyndrum on the West Highland Way, a 92 mile walk from Milngavie near Glasgow to Fort William.

The village which has spectacular mountain scenery is on a bus and train route and is only one and a half hours drive from Glasgow and Prestwick airports. Oban and Fort Willaim are only one hours drive away.

Owner's Description

Angela and Chris Sclater extend a very warm welcome to their Guest House in Tyndrum, set amidst spectacular mountain scenery and on the West Highland Way long-distance path.

We have 7 bedrooms which have all been recently upgraded including several twin rooms which can be converted into King Size beds. We also have a combination of other rooms and can accommodate single walkers.

Dalkell provides a high standard of accommodation and is a non-smoking establishment. There is a garden for guests, drying room for walking gear and a TV Lounge with books/magazines and a selection of videos.

A full cooked breakfast is provided including a selection of fruit juices, yoghurt and cereals including vegetarian options. We cook everything fresh in the morning and ask that on arrival you complete your breakfast order form to ensure that we have everything freshly cooked and ready for you in the morning! We do have a high chair and cot available. Please ask if this is required.
