The house is about 200 years old and is in a very peaceful setting surrounded by agricultural land and enjoying beautiful views.

The house has its own tennis court and heated swimming pool which is open for about six months of the year. This has a removable dome which ensures that the pool is kept warm during the colder months.

Location

Barnbridge is on the outskirts of the village, East Tytherton, opposite the junction to Tytherton Lucas (or West Tytherton on some maps).

East Tytherton is about 4 miles from Chippenham and 10 minutes from Junction 17 of the M4. There is an excellent pub called the Foxham Inn just five minutes away in the village of Foxham, which serves a variety of very good food and is a typical village pub. In the summer you can sit outside and eat plates of homecooked chips! There is also another exellent pub 4 minutes away in Langley Burrell.

There are a number of interesting sights nearby such as Avebury, Bath, Marlborough and Devizes. The shopping malls of the Designer Outlet at Swindon and Cribbs Causway at Bristol are also nearby.

The Bed and Breakfast accommodation consists of a self-contained flat which has one twin, one double and one single bedroom, with a bathroom which is for the sole use of guests. There is another cloakroom with shower downstairs which is also available.All of the bedrooms have televisions, and one has its own basin. Downstairs there is a very large room with another television, with french windows leading out onto the garden, where guests may relax when they have had enough sightseeing!

Directions to Barnbridge B and B at East Tytherton, Nr Chippenham.

As from M4

Leave M4 at Junction 17 and take road to Sutton Benger.
Follow road to T junction and turn right towards Chippenham.
Follow road for about a couple of miles and take first left turn signed to East Tytherton.
About two miles down this road, after a Z bend you will find Barnbridge on the left opposite the village sign of East Tytherton and also opposite a road junction to Tytherton Lucas (or West Tytherton on some maps).
There is a large white B and B sign at the end of the drive.
Coming from Calne or Devizes on the A4

Just before you come to Chippenham you will cross over the first roundabout and then take the right hand turn signed to Tytherton.
Follow this road over a couple of small humpback bridges and take first left to Tytherton Lucas.
Follow this road all the way to the T junction and Barnbridge is on the opposite side of the T junction.
