WWF's Earth Hour - Sign up and Switch Off on Saturday 28th March at 8.30pm
Why your support for WWF's Earth Hour is so important...We're only a few hours away from WWF's Earth Hour now and I hope that, like me, you're looking forward to a very special night. But before the fun starts, I want to take a moment to remind you just how important your support for this extraordinary event is.
To put it simply, climate change is the biggest threat facing the world today. It's already increased the risk of extinction for iconic species like the polar bear and affects countless millions of people. And unless we do something now things are going to get a whole lot worse.
WWF's Earth Hour will send a message to the world's leaders that they will find hard to ignore. And the more people who are involved, the louder that message will be. So if you haven't done so already, please tell your friends and inspire your MP to support Earth Hour.
On behalf of everyone at WWF and of future generations, I want to thank you for being part of this historic event.
